Transformation is an ideal design task: seeing what it is and making it what it can be.
Park 100 is about energizing a tired 70’s apartment building and creating an invigorated new place to live. Now there is a clear sense of arrival with the new entry and a new presence on the street. The voluminous lobby becomes a sequence of intimate spaces for the residents from the entry foyer, the mail/coffee station, the pub like club room and the casual conference center. The exterior of the 23 story building signals a transformation has occurred with its new color palette that is sympathetic to its neighbors.
