Solar Single Family

It’s been said that “beauty is only skin deep,” but the homes at ParkSide at RidgeGate are putting that thinking to the test.  KEPHART is proud to be the architectural firm behind Harvard Communities’ and Berkeley Homes’, newest community ParkSide at RidgeGate.  Recently featured in the Denver Post (click here to read the article), this extraordinary community is resonating with buyers in a recovering market.  After only 30 days of sales, 13 of the 31 single-family residences are already reserved as the neighborhood is being completed.

The site, originally planned for an elementary school, proved to be an interesting topography challenge.  Rising to the test, the KEPHART team produced three “Coastal” home designs that creatively combine modern and traditional architecture while enhancing the features of the site.  Comfortably scaled front porches and entry courtyards engage the street and create a real sense of community.  Craftsmanship in every aspect of the home, from custom welded decorative metal sunshades to corbels and brackets have been artfully arranged to create truly unique and inviting homes.

The floor plans epitomize the trend in space flexibility and openness that today’s buyers desire.  The open plans with large windows and thoughtfully planned spaces are perfect for everyday family gatherings and entertaining.  All of the models can easily be customized in numerous ways to fit the lifestyle of any family.  For example, the Sky model can be personalized to have as many as six bedrooms with an optional finished basement.  The design choices are limitless.

These homes also represent far more than just attractive design.  ParkSide at RidgeGate will be the first all-solar neighborhood in the Denver-metro area.  Solar power systems are just one component of an upgraded Energy Star V 3.0 package being fit in every home making the energy efficiency unmatched.  Beauty and brains…who doesn’t love that?
